What is ABA therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence-based therapy that helps children build meaningful skills — communication, social connection, daily living, and independence — through positive reinforcement and individualized teaching. It's the most widely researched and recommended therapy for children with autism.
Does my child need a diagnosis before starting ABA?
Insurance typically requires an autism diagnosis to cover ABA therapy — and we can help with that. Unlike most ABA providers, we offer diagnostic evaluations in-house, so you don't have to wait months on an outside waitlist before beginning services.
What ages do you serve?
We serve children from early toddlerhood through the school-age years. Early intervention has the strongest evidence base, so if you have concerns about a young child, don't wait — reach out today.
How many hours of therapy will my child receive?
It depends entirely on your child's needs. After the initial assessment, your BCBA recommends a plan — commonly between 10 and 40 hours per week — and we review it with you before anything begins.
Will insurance cover services?
Most plans, including Medicaid and major commercial insurers, cover both diagnostic evaluations and ABA therapy. We verify your benefits for free and handle all authorizations before services start.
What does a typical session look like?
Mostly, it looks like play — because that's how children learn best. Your child works one-on-one with a trained behavior technician on goals set by their BCBA, woven into games, routines, and activities they enjoy.
How involved are parents?
Very — and that's by design. Every treatment plan includes parent training, regular progress updates, and open communication with your BCBA. You know your child best; we build on that.
